I have an old cast iron radiator on a second floor that knocks as the heat is rising. I don't see a bleed valve on the radiator. The furnace is an old Peerless boiler, don't see a bleed valve there either. What can I do?
It's steam heat. There is no bleeder valve. The radiator has sagged down from the feed pipe. Just prop up the side away from the shut off valve so the radiator sits level again.
